This is what your certificate looks like. Illustrative example: your level depends on your assessment. Choose one of the five roles to see it on the certificate.

Clients already expect work done with AI

They don't ask whether you use it. They assume you do, and they compare what you deliver with the work of someone who uses it better.

Growth marketer in 2021

  • The landing page gets outsourced, or built in the one CMS you know.
  • Data has to be requested from someone else, because they don't write their own queries.
  • Processing a spreadsheet takes hours.
  • Automating anything depends on developer time being available.

Growth marketer in 2026

  • The same person builds the page and publishes it.
  • They query the data directly and reach the answer on their own.
  • What used to take an afternoon is done in twenty minutes.
  • Repetitive tasks get automated without asking anyone for help.

The AI-Ready Certification measures which side of that line you're on today, in your profession. It's the short answer to a question companies want to ask you and don't know how to.

Is this certification for you?

Right now we certify five marketing and sales roles. Each assessment is written for one of them, with its own data, tools, and decisions, and there is no generic version. Find yours before you go on.

Growth marketer

Diagnoses a funnel and decides where the business needs to push.

Paid media specialist

Owns the auction, the tracking, and the budget.

Social media and content

Owns the audience: what gets published, in what voice, and what it achieved.

Outbound SDR

Builds qualified pipeline that didn't exist before.

Account executive

Takes the conversation from discovery to a signed deal.

If your work isn't one of these five, don't buy yet. There is no general assessment. We're adding roles and yours will come, but today the certification can only measure these five.

After you pay, a short conversation works out which of the five is yours, and the link to your assessment arrives by email.

What changes once you're certified

At AI-fluent or AI-native level, the certification shows up in the places where companies decide who to hire.

A visible badge on your profile

The certification appears on your public Workana profile, with your level. Anyone evaluating you can see it without having to ask.

More visibility in search

When a company looks for talent on Workana, certified profiles stand out from the ones that make the same claim with nothing to back it up.

You make the shortlists we build

When a client asks us for a shortlist of candidates for a project, the Workana team gives priority to certified professionals.

Something concrete to announce

You get your certificate and ready-made posts to share it on LinkedIn. An achievement with a date and real criteria behind it, which says more than another line about AI.

How the assessment works

Five rounds, all set at the same fictional company. Each round is a task of about 8 to 12 minutes and ends with three spoken questions, on camera, about the decisions you made. The clock runs for the whole case and never stops.

  1. You read the case and produce something that works

A database query, a section of a web page, a working document. Real deliverables from the profession, with no multiple-choice answers.

  2. You work with an AI assistant beside you included

It's built into the assessment, and using it is part of the job. It can sound confident and be wrong: noticing that is exactly what's being measured.

  3. You explain what you did on camera one take

Each round closes with three questions. Each one appears only once recording has started, you have up to 45 seconds to answer it, it saves automatically, and there's no second chance.

  4. You move on to the next round, in the same case

Every round starts from a common starting point, the same for every candidate, so a weak round doesn't carry into the next one.

  5. You submit, and an assessor reads your work

Your deliverable and your spoken answers reach a Workana assessor together. Your level arrives by email within 3 business days.

The actual assessment screen: the case brief on the left, the workspace with a database query in the center, and the AI assistant on the right. The case text is blurred.
The actual assessment screen. The case content is blurred.
  • Brief. The case, what you need to do, and the account data. It stays open the whole time.
  • Your work. Where you write, query the database, or build your deliverable. It saves automatically.
  • Assistant. The AI assistant, always at hand. It's a general-purpose assistant: the judgment is yours.

How your level is decided

Four levels, with no pass or fail. Two things are read together: what you delivered and what you said on camera. The first shows what you produced; the second, whether the judgment is your own. A Workana assessor reads both and decides. Levels 3 and 4 earn the certification; at level 1 or 2 you can retake the assessment after 60 days.

  1. 4

    AI-native

Everything in level 3, plus: in the final round, without being asked, you set a limit on what AI should be allowed to do without a human, and you describe on camera how you changed approach in an earlier round instead of patching what you had.

  2. 3

    AI-fluent

Your output works, and you catch the problems hidden in the case (missing one at most). In at least three rounds you explain on camera why you decided what you did, and in at least two what you say matches what your session shows: the numbers you calculated, the query you ran.

  3. 2

    AI-aware

You produce work, but you miss more than one of the problems hidden in the case, can't explain your own decisions on camera, or what you say doesn't match what you actually did.

  4. 1

    Not AI-augmented

Fewer than two rounds produce something that works.

A demanding assessment, and that's why it's worth it

“The assessment is demanding. It's not one of those certifications you get by answering multiple choice. You have to show how you think and how you really use AI. But that's exactly why it was worth it for me: since I got it, I've been able to pitch bigger projects with more confidence and win higher-level clients.”

Mariana
Growth Marketer

“What I liked most is that it looks at how well you bring AI tools into your work, more than how much you know about them. I found myself handling situations very similar to the ones I deal with on real client work. The certification turned out to be a good way to show something that used to be hard to prove.”

Lucas
Social media and content

“I was already using AI every day, but the assessment made me see where it was really helping me work better and where I was just piling on tools. I came away with the certification, and also with several concrete ideas for improving the way I work.”

Before you start

The assessment is done in one sitting. It's worth starting it when you genuinely have the time free.

  • A computer. A phone isn't recommended: you'll be writing, querying data, and building deliverables.
  • A working camera and microphone, and a quiet place to talk.
  • 60 uninterrupted minutes. The clock doesn't stop.
  • A stable connection. If you reload the page, your saved work comes back. The clock keeps running.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use artificial intelligence during the assessment?

Yes. The assessment has an AI assistant built in, and using it well is part of what's measured. There is no AI-free version: the certification exists precisely to see how you work with AI.

Is it a course or a training program?

No. There are no classes, study materials, or multiple-choice questions. It's an assessment of how you work today: in each round you produce a real deliverable, then explain on camera the decisions you made.

How long does the Workana AI-Ready Certification take?

60 minutes in a single session, split across five rounds. The clock runs for the whole case and doesn't stop between rounds, so it's best to take it when you have the time free and no interruptions. The link arrives by email, and you have 7 days to start it.

Do I need to know how to code or write SQL?

You don't need to be a programmer. Some rounds ask you to query a database, and the AI assistant is there to help you do it; how you use it is part of what's assessed, and it's allowed.

Can I re-record a spoken answer?

No. On-camera answers are one take. Each question appears only once recording has started, and it saves automatically when time runs out.

Can I retake the certification if my level comes out low?

Yes. It's a measurement with four levels, not a pass or fail, and you always get yours. The AI-aware and Not AI-augmented levels don't receive a certificate, but you can retake the assessment 60 days after your first one, for USD 10 instead of the original USD 49.

When do I get my result?

A Workana assessor reviews your work after you submit it, which can take up to 3 business days. You get your level by email.

What is Quick Moderation?

Quick Moderation comes included when you buy the AI-Ready Certification: we carefully review your Workana profile within 24 hours of your purchase, with guaranteed follow-ups until it's approved.

What happens if my connection drops or time runs out?

If you reload the page, your saved work comes back. The clock keeps running. If time runs out, everything is submitted automatically, including anything you haven't finished.

Can I take the assessment on my phone?

It's not recommended. You'll be writing, querying data, and building deliverables, so you need a computer, plus a camera, a microphone, and a quiet place for the spoken answers.

What language is the assessment in?

In English, Spanish or Portuguese. You choose the language before you start, and the whole assessment, including the on-camera questions, stays in that language.

Your next client will ask how you work with AI

Sixty minutes today and, if you get certified, the answer stays on your profile.
